It will end.
It will all end.
Sometimes in a glorious explosion.
Others without even a notice.
It will happen when you’re looking the other way.
Or when you are staring right at it
clenching the final fibers in your hands.
And when it ends poorly-
sorrow.
And when it ends well-
joy.

And when it ends like it ends most often-
you might not know
until several months later
on a nice clear morning
with juice and pastries
and a song on the radio
that makes you smile
whether you want to or not.

It will end.
It will all end.
And something else will take its place.
Just the same as this.
